Do you love breakfast burritos like I do? If so, here’s a simple and easy restaurant style Breakfast Burrito Recipe so you can make at home.
Note, I’m cooking for a family of five and based on my preferences for ingredients.
If you have a deep fryer (check out my T-fal Deep Fryer Review), turn it on to warm up oil. Cut the potatoes into small cubes. Put into deep fryer or fry in frying pan with oil between medium-high heat. Potatoes take the longest to cook. Crack and scramble the eggs in a frying pan with some butter (if you desire) using low to medium heat. Put both aside. Cook the chorizo in a pan using medium heat. You’ll want to make sure the eggs and chorizo are thoroughly cooked.
You can heat up the tortilla on a pan with some butter or not. It’s up to you. I like to warm up my tortillas. Note, I use the 12 inch diameter tortillas so you have enough tortilla to roll up the burrito. Place the ingredients on the tortilla and roll up.
If you have kids, kids love cooking so you could have your kids help you with making your breakfast burrito. FYI, my kids don’t like the chorizo yet, so we substitute chorizo with chopped up bacon or sausages. Hopefully you found this Breakfast Burrito Recipe helpful, enjoy!
